Back in the less-happening village of Kanyapuram, an aspiring author loses a copy of her very first manuscript.

Review:
I have read Maliny's stories in 'Love and other enchantments' and was taken away by her storytelling skills. I found reviewing her first solo book exciting and readily accepted it for the review.
I am extraordinarily late in posting this review. I had read the book long back but couldn't find time to write its review. I liked the simple cover of the book. The blurb gives a brief insight into what the book is going to be. It contains just one line about the story. It is this one line which makes you so curious about the story that you wish to read it soon.
I really appreciate Maliny's storytelling abilities. Her narration has an ability to keep you hooked onto the story. The plots aren't something extraordinary, it is the way it is crafted and the way it is presented which makes this book a lovely read. The language is lucid. The pace of all the stories is consistent. The stories exhibit strong character of the protagonists.
Life is a chaos. It is how you come out of this chaos which is important. Maliny's book is a lovely read.
