Review-
The Age of Aspirations is an interesting story about entrepreneurship. This story talks about Ajay's (the protagonist's) life right from his struggling days to his success. It talks about his college life and his work life.
Reading a brief account of somebody's life is something that interests me. I get to know the person very well. I know about his struggles, his sacrifices, his success and his life. I find inspiration in such books. This book too did the same to me. The protagonist seemed like a familiar person.
The story has been narrated in third person narrative. The language is lucid and the book is rich in vocabulary. The manner in which the story has been narrated tells you how good the author is with the language. The author has introduced the characters in the story at the beginning of the novel. I found it very thoughtful on author's part to do the same as there are many characters and there is a possibility that the readers might get confused about them.
The novel is a good read. It's inspiring. However, I didn't like the typesetting and layout of this novel. There are many long paragraphs which were a turnoff for me.
I rate:
